SOUTH CAROLINA - The South Carolina Department of Motor Vehicles will be closed on Wednesday, July 4, 2012 in observance of the Independence Day state holiday.

Please remember that the days before and after a holiday are often extremely busy at DMV. Customers may want to choose another time to visit their local DMV office or process their transactions online at the agency website at www.scdmvonline.com.

Kroger's Fuel Reward Program saves customers up to $2 at the pump

Kroger is revamping its Fuel Reward Program to provide customers with even more savings – up to $2 per gallon of gas – for the summer travel season.

Now through September 30, Kroger customers earn 100 Fuel Reward Points for every $100 they spend at Kroger, which instantly saves 10 cents to $2 per gallon at Kroger Fuel Centers.

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) In their continued support of public education, two area teachers will be honored at a Myrtle Beach Bojangles' location Thursday afternoon with books donated to their schools.

USPS looking to hire 180 new employees in South Carolina

SOUTH CAROLINA (WMBF) The Greater South Carolina Postal District is looking to hire 180 new employees to fill several positions.

The positions are entry-level and will pay between $9.50 and $22.15 per hour. The positions are available at 32 different locations, and job postings will be available for the next 7 to 10 days.
