MLB star host third annual charity weekend for autism

PEE DEE, SC (WMBF) Join Orlando Hudson, second baseman for the San Diego Padres on Saturday, Jan. 14 and Sunday, Jan. 15 as he host the third annual Strike Out! Autism Charity Weekend in the Pee Dee to raises fund for the CATCH Foundation in the fight against autism.

Audition for the Florence Men's Choral Society

FLORENCE, SC (WMBF) Men in the Pee Dee aged sixteen and up that love to sing are invited to audition for the Florence Men's Choral Society by founder and artistic director, Julian Young.

Auditions will be held on Thursday, Jan. 12 at 5:30 p.m. and Tuesday, Jan. 17 at 7 p.m. at the All Saints Episcopal Church Parish Hall. The Choral Society's director is looking for additional voices for their spring performances with the Florence Symphony Orchestra. Those auditioning do not need to prepare, but will be auditioning based on vocal range, diction, clarity and tonality.
